    Lovely lucite findings...

I'm feeling quite chuffed with myself at the moment - just came home with two new lucite and chrome folding chairs very similar to these ones (below). And what's better - I found them at my local Goodwill for $8! I think they'll look lovely paired with my previous find - a vintage oval teak dining table.

Now the question I have is - should I pair them with other clear chairs - perhaps a pair of clear acrylic Louis XVI ghost armchairs and some clear Eames Eiffel based chairs, OR a beautiful mix of all different chairs like Amy Larocca did in her dining room (below). What do you think?

Congratulations! What a find! I think they would look great mixed with some different chairs. And that Domino room is one of my all time favorites! I recently posted it too. :)

I would love to see the lucite folding chairs paired with other non lucite chairs... maybe ones that have some chrome in them as well. Sweet find at the Goodwill!

Just $8? You are a shopping maven! I need to take a lesson from you. Please post a photo of whatever you decide to do with them. I'm sure it'll be brilliant.

$8? We need to go shopping together ASAP.

What a great purchase! I'd go for some other clear chairs - so going for the same material in different shapes will still bring the look together.

How lucky are you?! There are few things better than great finds at great prices. I love the idea of mixing the lucite chair with a mix of chairs.

I have a pair of the Louis Ghost Arm Chairs and I love them mixed in with other style chairs. I have had them at either end of my dining table with a sofa on one side and a pair of stream lined wicker arm chairs on the other. The transparency of the lucite makes them seem like, "an elegant whisper of a chair" which mixes in beautifully. So I suggest you mix it up!!
