    Hello, sunshine!

Have been having so much fun wandering around my new neighborhood, discovering brand new shops and restaurants, hidden laneways and quiet parkettes with a city view. One of the most delightful things throughout the area are the bursts of bright yellow forsythia - signalling the beginning of Spring and injecting a little sunshine into even the rainiest of Spring mornings. It's amazing how a little shot of yellow instantly brings on a smile.

A bouquet of daffodils is always an easy fix if one is in need of a smile. Beautiful images!

Helena - agreed! I was the captain of 'St Thomas/ Yellow house'back in school, and I think I avoided it for a while after, now I find it just delighful in little doses.

SL - you're right, a little bouquet of sunshine, daffodils just seem so naturally happy!

I love what that pop of yellow in the last image does to the overall feeling of the room! Also adoring how the curtains just pool at the floor like that, feels so luxurious!

So incredibly pretty, Sharalee! I love yellow. It might even just be my favorite color -- just for the sheer happiness that it brings. As is this post -- it brought a smile to my face -- thank you :)

    Enjoy exploring your new neighborhood!

GASP! I've never thought of yellow curtains! I love them. Exploring a new neighborhood is always so much fun, isn't it? I'm still making my way around different parts of San Diego -- just wish I had less schoolwork so I had more exploration time.
