    Warm whites

I've been browsing through different swatches of white to paint the new space - aiming to find something crisp and clean yet still warm and inviting. I love the mix of different whites in this beautiful space by French interior design firm Hand, Lyon. Warm, inviting neutral tones and a rich blend of textures playfully mixed with mid-century modern furniture and classic architecture makes the space seem more comfortable and relaxed.

The mobile was my favourite too! So fun and a little quirky - I wonder how hard it would be to make one...?

Yes it is so hard finding the perfect paint. It all depends on the light and how it travels in the rooms.

I don't have a favourite swatch number to give you.

The rooms you featured look great - especially no 2.

    Good luck on your hunt.

P.S. Though more of a 'grey expert' you may want to drop Donna over at 'A Perfect Gray' a note. She is great with colour. x

I don't have a white paint to recommend, but just wanted to say I love the warmth of that living room. Perfect for after-dinner drinks or afternoon tea :)

How interesting, I never realized how much gold can go into white before it turns beige. It is lovely. No, no help from the color dummy.

The book i bought Colors for your home which i recently blog about would really help out. I love your inspiration pics though!

I really like the added touch of the rug and how it's a warmer shade of white. It really anchors the space without overpowering it.
