    Autumn in the English countryside

There's something about autumn that always conjures up imagery of the English countryside: misty mornings, quilted jackets and heavy tweeds, long walks with tall wellington boots through amber leaves, picking apples and sharing them with the horses, savouring the brief moments of radiant sunshine and finally retreating home to a hot cup of tea and something that's been simmering on the stove all afternoon...
