Pretty pieces in white + gold: Kelly Wearstler for Pickard

To be honest, I'm not always a massive fan of all things Kelly Wearstler. While I do admire her refreshing creativity, I often find her spaces too busy or 'loud', I generally crave 'quieter' spaces, with more of an understated drama or glamour.
I have, however, completely fallen for her porcelain designs for Pickard. The perfect combination for a rich, but quiet elegance. Not too precious in its modern motifs. Would be just perfect paired with soft neutrals or add some drama paired with rich, dark shades.

Totally agree, I do find her interiors way too busy for me. But these cups and saucers are beautiful and elegant.

I too find most of K.W.'s designs overdone (with some exceptions, of course)... I'm more a fan of calming, tranquil designs. But these tea cups are extraordinary! Thanks for sharing.

I completely agree with you on both accounts!! Although I am not always a fan, I do love the porcelain designs!! They have an elegant, yet retro feel.

There are always extremes..and these are extremely gorgeous! I love Kelly Wearstler interiors, but I totally agree with the over the top. I guess I still like them (not for my home), but b/c she does push the envelope and looks outside the box. And people like that are the ones who keep things rolling. Solid Gold!
