Perhaps it's the cooler autumn days we've been experiencing over the past week, but lately my mind has been preoccupied with a dozen shades of warm brown (a bit of a departure from my usual black and white). Tan cashmere trenchcoats, cognac leather boots and warm wood tones always seem like the perfect compliment to the crisp carpet of autum leaves.
This New York townhouse by designers Fox-Nahem feels like the culmination of the warm tones that have been swirling around in my head - rich wood, plush caramel and soft cream give the space an inviting warmth - like coming home to your favourite warm drink on a cold day. The warm tones are balanced with crisp white walls that keep it feeling fresh and sophisticated. To me its like the interior version of a caramel macchiato.

lovely pics - I've just written a post about brown and white interiors! (publishing it next week). In the meantime check out Design Shimmer, this is where I got my inspiration from x
The bedroom isn't my thing, but otherwise, I want to move into this home. Immediately! Thank you for sharing - going into my inspiration pile!
I am in love with that bedroom!
Love the kitchen!
I always love your descriptions. And I do love this color combo.
Beautiful and elegant I specifically like the panelling
I have been loving this look lately, with the white and the natural but warm wood tones
I love rich warm woods in the home. There's just something more 'real' and beautiful about it to me than wall-to-wall fabrics and upholstery.
Brown is the tone of autumn. Wood interior is warm and feels good.
