Just heard...how incredibly sad. What a legend, and what a beauty. She will always be thought of as the quintessential Hollywood movie star. Thankfully there are many many wonderful movies for us all to watch and rewatch in her memory.

EH - you're right, she really does epitomize Old Hollywood glamour, really no one else quite compares in that class...

But look at what she's left behind. A legacy unmatched! And the woman truly LIVED! I can't feel sadness for her passing. I'm just happy to have witnessed her wild ride.

    RIP La Liz!

Completely agree Edwina - she really lived to the fullest and that is to be celebrated!

DB - I think that was why I was drawn to these particular images - a friend was just speaking the other day about how she'd been watching an old movie and her body was so full and womanly - I wish we had more of an appreciation for that today.

Thank you Geisslein - and greetings from currently sunny Toronto right back to you! Thank you so much for visiting! :)
