    Walking on sunshine

I've always been drawn to Moroccan patterns and textiles, whether intricately detailed or bold and graphic, there's something timelessly appealing about them. This bright sunny staircase was created by painting stencils onto precut wood, then attaching them to stair risers. A simple DIY project but such a big impact! I'd like to try this using one pattern and in black and white. I love how cheerful the yellow is here.

Find the stencils at Royal Design Studio.

It's such a lovely sunny afternoon, I can't help but smile to look outside.

I love the fact that each stair is a different pattern. I too love the Moroccan patterns!
