One of my favourite things about Fall fashion is the chance to add extra layers and accessories. Right now I am desperately trying to reign in my inner magpie which constantly craves shiny stones, sequins and all things that sparkle. I love adding a little glitz to a simple outfit to add a bit of glamour, but I'm afraid of getting too carried away, and running the risk of looking like a Christmas tree. But go ahead, pile it on - no doubt you'll leave them all dazzled...

An ex of mine called me a magpie as a nickname because I was in my "gold" and "sparkly things" phase. I think I'm still in it... reminds me of the song from the musical Chicago - Razzle, Dazzle Them! It's all so fun to wear! Beautiful collection of images.

seeing this makes me wish i had a giant cocktail ring on right now, for just a bit of glamour.
me, too - although i'm mostly into scarves, boots, hats, cool stockings... i just think we need a bit of extra glamour because it's autumn.
