    Black + Gold pt.ii

I keep coming back to this rich, sophisticated combination whether it's warm, gold hardware on a plush, black leather handbag, guilded moldings and sculpture or the honey gold hued leaves in the streetlight against the dark night there's an allure about this combination that draws you in. Classic, sophisticated luxury. Now I'm thinking about replacing the buttons on my black jacket with classic, gold crested ones...

Certainly one of my favorites as well, especially with a mix of ornate and modern lines -- killer combo! I came across a table last week that would fit this post ideally -- I keep thinking about it...doesn't that second image just make you want to jump into it? The table is so perfectly offset by the large bouqet and simple modern piece.

A lovely, lovely post, Sharalee :)

I agree with everyone - black and gold is just the perfect combo. My favourite example is the black limited edition Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance. Brilliant post xx

I live for that Sophia Coppola for Louis Vuitton campaign {she's just a genius, isn't she?}. SO chic.

    Cheers.
