    Soft sea green

Soft shades of sea green always bring me back to happy memories of my favourite place in the world to be - by the water. Relaxing and soothing, it always seems such a calm, comforting palette - the perfect way to end a busy weekend. This weekend was busy - lots of work and lots of fun - rushing around, birthday cakes, dancing, laughing with old friends and a quick visit from my sister. It just flew by, now I'm longing to escape the flurry of activity and sit along by the water, letting the soft, gentle lapping of the waves and soothing green and blue water tones melt away all my cares.

This post is a little tribute to a very special someone whose birthday happens to be today, and whose favourite colour has always been soft seafoam green.
Miss C - hope you've had the most wonderful day!

Silver Sage..the signature colour for Restoration Hardware is blissfully peaceful and one of the main reasons I worked retail for them last year.

What a great find Mardi - RH's silver sage is a perfect shade of soft sea green, the bedding would make the perfect start to a relaxing bedroom palette.

If it's a question of paint I say dive right in and give it a try. At worst you can always paint it back :)
