When Nate Berkus was scouting out a New York pied-a-terre (I think he may have moved on to a different space now), he knew exactly what he was looking for- a small space with high ceilings and lots of natural light. This tiny pre-war apartment perfectly fit the bill and most importantly fit his biggest requirement - it made him feel happy! Some small renovations to the kitchen and bathroom and few coats of paint later (white on the walls, black for the cabinetry, doors and windows) and the space was transformed from dingy to delightfully chic with Nate's signature style - sleek, well-travelled, un-fussy. There's always such a lovely sense of balance to Nate's spaces - natural and industrial, modern and antiques, black and white. |

that does it. I'm painting a few of my interior doors black!
Small but perfectly put together. Love it. Particularly the kitchen area and bedroom.
Victoria - those were my favourites too!
Perfect Grey - do it!! Then show us the beautiful results!
