    Elegant simplicity

As tiny glimpses of Spring begin to appear, I'm starting to resist winter a little less, knowing it'll be over soon enough - and trying to savour the special moments that only seem to come during this season.  Enjoying the crisp air and coming in to a comfortable chair in front of a glowing fire. There is a certain coziness about winter that different from any other season - and always the perfect excuse for another cup of tea.

You know, there are some wonderful things about winter. I'd love to just curl up under a blanket on one of those chairs.

As I sit here looking at mounds of snow, still leftover, sipping my mint tea...I must admit there are some redeeming qualities about winter and the colder weather, will not take away from that but I do long for spring and summer (my favorite season) then I know soon enough will come that brutally hot summer day where I will long for a crisp winter snowy day, and so the cycle repeats itself!
