Organic pendant lamps: Carroll Street Woodworkers

While I always love the impact and simplicity of black and white, there's something about adding the warmth of wood to a space that really makes it come alive. (This is something Nate Berkus always does so well, see his apartment here.) These unusual turned wood pendant lamps from The Carroll Street Woodworkers here in Toronto caught my eye. With a very natural, organic shape and polished to show the natural grain of the wood, I think add a wonderful warmth to a modern black and white or industrial space.
