The home on the cover of this month's Style at Home caught my eye immediately. A chic black and white palette and floooded in light, jewelry artist Rikke Granscoe's home is stunning with classical architectural details like crown molding and vintage window latches. This fresh space was indicative of what was to come in this month's issue. I was pleasantly surprised with the magazine's updated look and lots of beautiful inspiration.
A simple black and white palette combined with more casual furniture - the X based dining table, natural jute rugs and overstuffed white upholstery gives a understated, sophisticated tone.
The bright floral prints mounted on glossy acrylic pop against the calm white palette.

You've done it again Sharalee!! Love the black and white forever!! :) Great pictures and post! xo
Very cool home. Black and white can go really wrong if not done right, but this is done so well. It's the warth of the mouldings and other layers that make it work. And that artwork in the bedroom is fabulous!

Love these rooms.. Black and white sometimes are just too strong for me but there is certain warmth about these rooms! Love it! Hope you have a great day!
I was just looking at this story in Style at home yesterday at work. LOVE it!
Tamanna - thank you! Yes - black + white forever!! :)
Jules + Sasha - you're right, sometimes black and white can be a little harsh, but the vintage details and comfortable, lounge-y furniture make it so much more approachable.
Sandi - this month's issue was fantastic, I was so impressed! Looking forward to seeing what is to come...
love that kitchen table set up. benches are so friendly looking and are really comfy too.
Lovely images! I particularly like the room with the thumb prints on the wall. How cool are they! Cyber hug, Mon
Love the bedroom- the prints really pop, but it's still a neutral, calming palette.
What a lovely home!
I particularly like the living room -- the color palette, stunning windows and little details make it irresistible :)
