    Inspiration: Grey and White Chevron + a fabulous DIY idea

    Been feeling really crafty and creative lately, working on a little project I will share with you soon. I always feel so inspired looking at clever DIY ideas, makes me with there were an extra few hours in the day to try each one! Sometimes the one step to a complete transformation is a single coat of paint. Or in this case, one coat of zig-zagged paint...

    A pattern I've really been drawn to lately is grey and white chevron - a strong, bold pattern softened with a muted shade. I loved these cute tags from Linda & Harriet so much I slipped them inside some of the label holders on my file folders, for a fun effect.

    Use this pattern on a larger scale with this beautiful DIY tutorial featured in Sunset magazine. Click here for the Chevron pattern how-to and step by step instructions. What a fantastic statement piece for a console or dresser in an entrance hall.
    Or maybe even smaller bedside tables?

    {Really love the sunny, fresh yellow against the grey + white!}

    That is so cute! I am inspired to do a DIY zig zag rug, like West Elm's black and white one. I love how zig zags are in right now!
