As the weather takes a turn for the colder, we all find ourselves turning indoors toward the comfort and warmth of home. But warmth isn't just about the thermostat, it's the atmosphere generated by a soft glow, rich luxurious textures, nostalgic scents and cozy corners to curl up in. Rich, luxurious fur throws (faux, of course) are a most inviting sight when the weather outside is a little frightfulm bringing not just physical but visual warmth to a space. A diverse blend of various textures is often forgotten, but is such an essential part of building atmosphere in a space. Soft, plush textures just 'soften the edges' of a space, making it more welcoming and adding a hint of luxe.
Hope you're keeping warm and cozy!

love the fuzzy throws and pillows... ah... so warm and cozy!!
what a good point! Warmth is definitely an atmosphere not just a temperature, and what better way then adding some (faux) fur - lovely~
Warmth is really a feeling, and your images express the mood so beautifully. I think that i have almost created the perfect "winter warm mood" in my drafty stone stabbles of a house" with winter indoor temperature : top temp 66f. I do provode multitude of cashmere throws and shawls....
The second photograph must have been shot in France as I feature the same industrial table in my showroom...which looks really warm (in feel and temperature) ...see prevois post.
Love it! I just want to jump right in and cuddle up

Manvi- can't wait to see your post too!
I have a couple of really nice faux throws that people think are the real thing and we use them like crazy - all year around. I have yet to invest in some sheep skins. I love them on contemporary chairs. Happy weekend! Monika
I love this...in winter, sheepskin, furs, cozy throws and pillows are the perfect medicine for cold days! Each image is so pretty...
Hope you have a great weekend!
Great post. Looking at these interiors makes me feel warm and toasty. And I love that you wrote "faux, of course". Amen.
